3rd Volkovsky Footbridge across the Volkovka River 9.27.2014

Translated from 2rf.ru:
3rd Volkovsky bridge (3-й Волковский мост) crosses the Volkovka River and is located along Volkovskaya Avenue below the Diamond Bridge. It is designed for pedestrian traffic. Until the 60's there there was a wooden footbridge here. The name comes from the river.

In 1966, the bridge was overhauled, and in 1988, it was rebuilt as a metal single span, by engineer VI Feldman. The superstructure consists of metal I-beams with orthotropic plate passer parts. The foundations are reinforced concrete on pile foundation. The metal railings are a lightweight type. The deck is coated with asphalt. The length of the crossing is 12.4 meters, and the width is 2.25 meters.
