The New Andrew's Bridge (Ново-Андреевский мост) is a pedestrian bridge which crosses the Smolenka River in St. Petersburg, connecting Vasilievsky Island and the Isle of the Decembrists in Vasiliostrovsky. It is located between Smolensk and Cash bridges. It has existed in it's current since the end of 2009.

The first bridge at this site appeared the 1960s, when the construction of the island Decembrists had just begun. Residents of nearby houses collected money and built the necessary crossing. After this bridge was named the Co-operative, or Iron Bridge (after the material of which it had been made). There was also the name Andrew, after the creator of the bridge, Igor Andreev. Andreev was the engineer of the Baltic plant and erected a bridge almost willfully, having an extra metal beam at the plant, and ordering its transportation and installation also through the office.

In spring 2005, there was an announcement that the bridge would be closed for three months for cleaning the river bed. The bridge was dismantled and lied on the beach. Upon completion of cleaning work and construction of the embankment, the bridge had not yet been re-installed, and the autumn of 2006 had disappeared. It was not listed on the balance sheet SPbGUP "Mostotrest" included in the Committee on Improvement and Roads.

In 2009, it was decided to rebuild the bridge. Construction began at the beginning of September 2009 with the contractor JSC "Trust" Lenmostostroy. The bridge was officially reopened December 17, 2009.

At the time of the bridge opening there already existed an Andrew Bridge in St. Petersburg (on the Powder). To prevent two identical toponyms crossing Smolenka, this span was given the name of Novo-Andrew Bridge on July 28, 2010.

Ural (Uralsky) Bridge across the Smolenka River 9.24.2014

Translated from Russian Wikepedia:
The Ural bridge (Уральский_мост) crosses the Smolenka River in St. Petersburg connecting the 8th and 9th line of Vasilievsky Island with Ural Street.

There has been a wooden bridge here since 1829, called "non-Wine", since it was near the wine town. There are two versions of the name; a small town surrounded by moats territory where the warehouses to store wine, delivered to St. Petersburg by water; Wine on the other hand could mean jail, where they were kept "on their wines" convicted. At the beginning of the 20th century the bridge was called Ural.

The modern bridge was built in 1974 by engineer VE Eduardova.

There are Obelisks, standing at the entrance to the bridge, decorated with gilt metal on top sailing ships.

The bridge is reinforced odnoprolёtny. It's length is 24.6 m, and it is 31 m wide.
