Translated from Russian Wikipedia:

The Smolensky bridge (Смоленский мост) crosses the Smolenka River in St. Petersburg in the alignment of the 16th and 17th lines of Vasilievsky Island. The foundations and facades of the span are lined with granite. Lights are installed on poles and artistic cast railings.

The first bridge here was an odnoprolёtny wooden bridge, called Non-German, and built in 1821. In 1959-1961. it was rebuilt into a modern, arched concrete bridge. The authors of the project were engineer AD Gutzeit and architect LA Sox.
