Belgrade bridge across the Volkovsky Canal 9.27.2014

Belgrade bridge (БЕЛГРАДСКИЙ мост) crosses the the Volkovsky canal in the alignment of the Belgrade street in the Frunze district of St. Petersburg. The bridge was built in 1969 by the architect LA Noskov and engineer EA Boltunova. It is a single-span reinforced concrete cantilever beam structure . The length is 40.8 m. and the width is 24 m. The superstructure is constructed of precast concrete blocks embedded in the foundation. The facade spans have curved shapes on the lower belt.

The Belgrade bridge was named after the capital of Yugoslavia (now the capital of Serbia).
