Lansky Bridge across the Black River 9.28.2014

Translated from Russian Wikipedia:
The Lansky Bridge (ЛАНСКОЙ мост) crosses the Black river in the alignment of Lansky Highway and School Street in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg.

The first bridge was built here in 1849. The wooden bridge was called the 2nd Chernorechenskaya to distingish it from the 1st Chernorechenskaya bridge, downstream. In 1868 t was called the Border because it was the northern border of St. Petersburg at the time. In 1889 it was named after the noble Lansky family, who owned vast tracts of land here in the end of the 18th century. At the beginning of the 20th century the bridge was rebuilt out of metal. In 1967, the engineer R. J. Rosen and architect LA Noskov built the modern odnoprolёtny concrete bridge cantilever-frame construction.
